
The Baylor Scoliosis Center Staff
The Baylor Scoliosis Center is staffed by a multi-specialty team including a fellowship-trained scoliosis surgeon, cardiac anesthesiologists, physiatrists and physician assistants on the medical staff at Baylor who specialize in the care of patients with complicated spinal deformities.
At the Baylor Scoliosis Center, our focus is on delivering quality patient care. A physician and nurse are available 24 hours a day to provide access to care in the event of an emergency and our staff is committed to serving you.
We also help you manage your treatment costs by working with your insurance company. Often, scoliosis surgery is considered an appropriate medical treatment and is generally covered by insurance. We have significant experience in managing insurance issues and are ready to help.

Director
Our Director serves as a liaison with hospital departments to coordinate any additional services you may require, resolve any operational issues and enhance your overall patient care experience.
Patient Care Coordinators
Our Patient Care Coordinators help coordinate all aspects of your pre- and post-operative surgical care. They provide you and your family with education and counseling regarding your scoliosis procedure, as well as assist you with housing and travel arrangements should you require them.
Clinical Research Coordinators
Our Clinical Research Coordinators conduct research in accordance with federal, state and institutional guidelines. They support spine surgery clinical research by extensive chart review, data collection, database management, statistics and analysis.
